Leighton Meets Sam

Sam has been very curious about our new addition, he is not sure what to think.


Sam says hello to Leighton, I guess that means she is accepted into our family.

First Week Home

After a few days in the hospital, Mommy and Daddy brought Leighton home. Here she is hanging out in some Browns gear.

So far I have been pretty excited to have Leighton home.


What can I say, already she has me wrapped around her little finger;)

When Leighton arrived!

On Monday, August 15th, Mommy and I got up like any normal day and had breakfast. I had been a little sick over the weekend so Daddy was sleeping in from helping out with my restless night. All of a sudden Mommy said "I think my water broke" and in a flash they packed me up to visit Grandma and Grandpa C. Then they went off to the hospital and before long here came Leighton.


This is Leighton.


Grandma W was the very first one to visit us at the hospital. (too slow this time Grandpa C)

Mommy thinks that Leighton is hungry.

Grandpa C was second to come visit Leighton.


Mommy and Daddy say that Leighton has been much more alert than I was when I was born.


Here Leighton finally gets her first bath.


She is now nice and clean.


Grandma C and I finally get a chance to meet Leighton. Since I had a fever I had to wait until I was feeling better to meet her.


Already I love her sooo much!


Uncle Rob and Aunt Jenny visited a few times.



Grandpa W also visited a few times but we didn't get a picture with him. I guess it is true that the second baby gets less pictures taken:(


Leighton was too little to fit into my old car seat so Mommy and Daddy bought her this cute little pink one that fit her just right.

The months before Leighton arrives

Here are a a few more from Disney. We went to the Fantasmic show at Hollywood studios. Before it started we did the wave!

As you can see I was pretty excited about it.


So our trip to Florida was lots of fun, when Leighton is older maybe I can show her around.


Sam was happy to see us when we got home. Often we like to play together in the backyard.


In June we celebrated Grandpa C's birthday.


That is Leighton in Mommy's tummy.

Of course we had a few chances to swim at Grandma and Grandpa C's.

My cousins came all the way from Minnesota to visit us!


We also visited the zoo a few times with friends.


Apparently this is my zoo face.


Here we are celebrating father's day.



Mommy and Daddy had their 10 year anniversary! I spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa C's house.


We ran into a few friends at the mall!


When you are at the mall you have to feed the ducks...


..and let's not forget the fish.


As you can see we had a busy Summer before Leighton arrived. Even though l know you read the blog just to see what I've been up to, moving forward I guess I will also be sure to let you know what Leighton has been doing also;)

New Sister!

So some of you may have heard that my baby sister decided to come 3 weeks early. She was born on 8/15/11 at 1:38pm. She was a whopping 6 lbs and 1 oz. We decided to call her Leighton Jennifer. Her first name starts with L, just like mine. She got her middle name from the best Aunt ever (Aunt Jenny). Here she is sleeping in her basinet at the hospital.



So moving forward the blog will be mostly the same with a few changes. It will still be my blog since it has my name in the title, but I am willing to share the content made available with Leighton. Also I will start updating the post date to be the date the pictures were taken, so moving forward when you look for Christmas picture you can look in December instead of whenever Daddy gets around to helping me update the blog. Lastly I will be doing a quickie post showing the highlights from Disney to August 15 so we can be up to date at least for now;)

The Magic Kingdom

Here we are for the opening events for the Magic Kingdom.


We had a chance to ride lots of rides. I really like "It's a Small World".


Daddy insisted that we ride the ponies.


We even road "Splash Mountain". Daddy kept me from getting wet.


We had a quick chance to see Woddy and Jessie before their parade.


The parade is about to start!


Minnie is my favorite.


This girl liked flirting with me;)


I'm glad I didn't make Jessie late for the parade.
